When VTI first opened its doors 1993, Art wore multiple hats like most of our employees. He was there helping to unload and setup equipment. He helped to install our vacuum chambers and evaporation source used for depositing aluminum onto plastic enclosures in our vacuum metalizing process. He was one our original tooling engineers, measuring parts with calipers and hand drawing the components for the metalizing masks. He helped with assembling tools for production. In our early lean days, you could even find him throughout the production area willing to lend a hand. Thanks to Art’s knowledge and skills, he helped VTI along its journey. We are sure that Art would be proud of how VTI has grown and changed to become successful in the EMI shielding and Form In Place gasketing community. Our thoughts are with him and his family.
