		VTI Vacuum Technologies Inc., who specialize in vacuum metallizing of plastic electronic enclosures, announces the additional service debut of conductive or non-conductive Cured-in- Place gasket or adhesive bonding assembly of components before or after shielding. We now offer to our customers ESD, RFI and EMI Shielding gasket solutions. Whether it's Cured-in-Place EMI Gasketing or Adhesive Dispensing of material, we have the ability to perform these services manually or robotically, whichever is required by the customer.

The Cured-in-Place gasket or adhesive materials are specified by the customer and supplied by manufacturers like 3M, Loctite, Chomerics, Dymax and Laird Technologies to name a few. Some of the EMI gasket materials provided can be moisture, temperature or UV cured. This additional service helps reduce lead-time, shipping, as well as handling costs.

We also possess the ability to do In-house Sub-Assembly whether it involves complex tasks or bonding of various components such as display windows, alarm and wire tacking or keypad assemblies. VTI Vacuum Technologies Inc., is one of the few companies dispensing a pure silver conductive material as well as a medical grade sealant, which creates a conductive path to the metallized surface of the enclosure. In some applications the customer does not want to metalize the enclosure but just wants to have us perform the value added assembly which we are more than happy to do.

After shielding, a conductive or non-conductive Cured-in-Place EMI gasket or adhesive bonding of components will be available to whoever has the need to create a RFI or EMI Shielding gasket. Cured-in-Place gasketing can eliminate the tedious assembly of O-rings in a groove or those people looking to adhesively bond components together that do not have the volume to justify robotic dispensing equipment.
