New Value Added Service: "Cured-in-Place Gasket " or adhesive dispensing of material by program controlled robot or manually dispensed where required by the customer.

Reedsburg, Wisconsin-- VTI VACUUM TECHNOLOGIES INC. announces the added technology of robotically dispensing a cured-in-place gasket or adhesive bonding of components to the EMI shielded or non-shielded plastic molded enclosure.

VTI Vacuum Technologies Inc., an ISO 9002 Compliant company, who for over 10 years has specialized in vacuum aluminum metallization coating service for plastic electronic enclosures for EMI/RFI/ESD SHIELDING .  The coating is UL approved under the UL 746C test standard for metalized coatings and goes by the registered trademark of VAETEC. 

After the enclosure is shielded, the value added cured-in-place gasket service will provide the benefit of a total lower associated cost by eliminating the additional shipping and handling, quicker throughput, as well as a reduction in lead time, which can save up to four to six weeks from within the supply chain.

The gasket materials are specified by the customer and purchased from the product manufacturers (or their distributors) like 3M, Loctite, Chomerics, Dymax, and Laird Technologies just to name a few.

Some of the gasket materials can be moisture, oven, or UV (light cured).

Value Added Assembly:

Adhesive dispensing is also offered to bond components to the metalized or shielded enclosure.  Components like display windows, alarm and wire tacking or keypad assemblies which can be assembled to the enclosure whether the customer wants shielding or not.  We are more than happy to provide these services.
